How long will my tea stay fresh?

Your Royal Blends Co. tea will stay fresh and maintain its flavor and health benefits for approximately 2.5 years when properly stored.

To ensure maximum freshness:

Store in a dry, room-temperature environment

Avoid direct light, heat, and humidity

What is the natural flavoring in my tea blend?

Our natural flavoring consists of extracts or oils derived directly from the same fruits or ingredients present in your tea blend.

100% plant-derived

Compliant with USDA and EU regulations

No synthetic additives

Are your teas organic?

We strive to source the highest quality ingredients and do use organic components in several of our blends.

However, we are not yet USDA Organic certified, so we cannot market our products as organic until that certification is obtained.

Are your teas gluten-free?

Yes — all of our teas are 100% gluten-free.

No wheat, rye, barley, triticale, malt, yeast, or wheat starch

However, please note: some products are made in facilities that are not certified gluten-free

If you have severe gluten sensitivities or allergies, proceed with caution

Are your teas vegan and dairy-free?

Yes — all Royal Blends Co. teas are vegan and dairy-free.

We always recommend checking the ingredient list on the back of each blend if you have specific dietary concerns.

What’s the best way to make iced tea?

For a strong and refreshing iced tea, follow these steps:

Double the usual amount of tea

Example: Use 3 sachets (instead of 1) for every 8 oz of water

Steep the tea as you normally would

Pour the hot tea over a cup filled with ice

Why double the tea?

As the hot tea hits the ice, it dilutes — doubling the tea ensures you still get full flavor

You can also increase steeping time for a bolder taste

The strongest iced teas use a higher tea-to-water ratio

I'm placing an order but unsure if I’ll like your tea. What if I don’t?

We hope you fall in love with our whole leaf tea — but if you don’t, we’re here to help!

If you're not 100% satisfied with your order, contact us within 30 days of delivery

We’ll be happy to offer store credit to help you find a blend you love

What is your estimated shipping and delivery timeframe?

Orders are processed and shipped within 24–48 business hours (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays)

Once shipped, most orders arrive within 3–5 business days

We ship from Spokane, WA, so delivery time may vary depending on your location

We currently ship to the mainland USA only

What is your return policy?

We stand by our tea — but if it’s not the right fit, we’ll do our best to make it right.

You may request a return or store credit if:

  • You contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • The items are unopened, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
  • Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the return is due to company error (e.g., damaged, missing, or incorrect items)

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used products including Tea set bundles
  • If you received a damaged, incorrect, or incomplete order, please contact us right away — we’ll take care of it!

I put in the wrong shipping address. Can you update this?

As long as your order has not shipped, we can easily update this for you!

If your order ships and is sent back to us due to an insufficient address, we are happy to resend your package to the correct address. However, we will ask that you pay for the additional shipping cost.

Are your tea sachets unbleached, recyclable, and biodegradable?

Yes! We use NeoSoilon® for our tea bags — a mesh filter made from PLA resin derived from non-GMO sugarcane.

Why we love it:

  • 100% plant-based — no petroleum, no microplastics, no glue
  • Beautiful design that showcases our full-leaf blends
  • Triangular shape allows for a perfect steep
  • 90% biodegradable in about 180 days when disposed of in soil under the right conditions

Is your packaging recyclable or biodegradable?

Absolutely!

Our tea tubes are 100% compostable and will break down rapidly under the right conditions — leaving no toxicity in the soil.

Just pop out the metal lid and toss it in the recycling bin.

All our packaging is printed using soy-based inks — completely plant-based and eco-friendly.

Where does your tea come from?

Our teas are thoughtfully sourced from all over the world, including:

  • Sri Lanka
  • Japan
  • China
  • India
  • Thailand

Each blend has a unique origin depending on the herbs and tea leaves used.
